Scripture Reading: 2 Chronicles 7 vs 12-14
The book of chronicles is one of the historical book that when read you know and see the power of God the artistic books display the kind of worship God is pleased with. The Prophetic Books display God speaking through the mouth of Prophets. Solomon as wise as he was did not end well but he lived his purpose that was prophesied upon his life.
Know your purpose and you will pray prayers that are aligned with your purpose.This scripture was God's respond on Solomon's wise prayers. Solomon was David's son who was a worshiper, warrior and had a repenting heart.
Repentance is rare these days, but that was not what qualified him to be called man after God's heart', but having a desire to build God a house was what qualified him.
No other but only king David desired to build God and temple but God's reply was "from your lions I will raise a son who will build me a house.
David's hands was full of blood but Solomon was pure and holy. Holiness is important. Defining holiness is a problem, holiness is being set apart, different from the world. What the world does cannot be found done in the house of the Lord
Now David prepared for his son Solomon, he fetched timber and collected silver. Parents need to create platforms for the sons, tendency of our race is we want to wait for death before giving young ones to build.The will of God can't wait for our parents to sleep, God will do great exploits through the son.
Church is a place for prayer, sadly turned into a place of our business. Lets return to our core business lest the wrath of God be upon us. The Church is a dual organization and organism, being after our financial targets more than God is a problem.
This is a house of the Lord priority is prayer. Sister you are not called for Chorus Leading and doing demonstrations only, these more. Better we die going forward than sit and die anyway. The house of the Lord is not a mere building but it's where the presence of God is.

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 22 vs 1-8
1 Kings 13 vs. 1-2
2 Kings 22:1 Josiah was eight years when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty one years. His mother was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah from Bozkath.
Vs2: He did what was pleasing in the Lord's sight and followed the example of his ancestor David. He did not turn aside form doing what was right.
Vs 3: In the eighteenth year of hid reign, King Josiah sent Shaphan son of Azaliah and grandson of Meshullam, court secretary, to the temple of the Lord.
The work of building the house rest on the sons.
Josiah was called to be a king at 8 years.
at the age of 8 years he did not have a council of advisers as kings normally have(its not recorded in the scripture that he had one), yet despite that he was able to lead . Josiah is seen giving orders, instructing priest on building the Lord's house and the book of the law was found under his leadership.
Though Josiah was crowned at the age 8 he began working in the 18th year of his reign- executing God's plan.
"When the Lord utters a word irrespective of how long it takes, it shall, come to pass."
Three hundred years before the boy was born, it was prophesied in the alter that a son will be raised as king.
God honors his words.
Josiah was without advisers or mentors. He did not have the privilege of being taught the traditions of the royal house and be groomed.
If we were to bring closer to us we would say he wasn't given instructions and traditions of the order of worship of our church as we tend to equip and give our new converts. At times the problem with people who have been privileged to be taught, when they serve in the church structure the glory usually goes to their mentors with the cries of "we taught him well, ukhule nge mfundiso yala ekhaya"
But now God will raise new converts and his hand will be upon them. They will be taught by Him to carry out His will.
The older people Josiah gave orders to respected him not because he was king, but they did so because of his encounter with the Lord. Young people come forth when you had the encounter with Him (have met Him in secret) for people will see and respect the God in you, and no one can stop the word of prophecy upon your life, not even being denied a platform.
Sons are assigned to build: David did not build but Solomon did, Ammon did not build but his son Josiah is the one who built. Shatteil did not build but Zerrubabel built. It was not Elijah but the sons of the prophets who saw that the temple needed to be enlarged. In the new testament God sent His son Christ Jesus to build the church. "Upon this rock I will build my Church"
Build with different skills and gifts:
To some he gave to be apostles. to some prophets. some evangelists. some pastors. Serve us according to what is been given.
Young people we were prophesied by the prophet Joel. As relaxed you are your work awaits you, the house of the Lord lies in the ruins. Sons of God rise up!
