1st
Speaker: Pastor Osborne Hleta

Zachariah 9Vs12
“Restoration is
about going back the original intent/purpose of God”, He also stated that there
are 8 words that become common when the work of God is dying which are:
We Have Never Done It This Way Before!!!
If Restoration Has To Happen We Must :
Fellowship Fruitfully & Charitably - that
is each time we meet together we must serve one another with love & have no
other selfish motive
Disciplined in Prayer – Pray
patiently & prophetically
Minister Through Your Gift Selflessly &
Sacrificially - diminish & let the gift
arise “do us a favor though, keep the holder of the gift(meaning you)
clean/righteous”
Read The Bible Observantly & Obediently - Observe
scriptures
Giving generously and gratefully - learn
to give from what you have, what you call little.
Return to your
stronghold you prisoners of hope- we need to go back to the basics. Ours is to
return to God for He can restore us.
The Work of Restoration Must Take Us Back
to God in This Following Manner:
1.
Back
To Genuine Salvation- a total change of friends from when you were a sinner
2.
Holy
Spirit Infilling- the encounter with Him is a necessity in a believers life- true baptism
3.
Compliance
With Sound Biblical Teachings
4.
Witnessing
For Jesus- tell people about Christ, to be an ambassador in person and in character
because there are people waiting for the witnessing.

CHARACTER QUALITIES of
RESTORES…..ABCDE
1.
ASSERTIVENESS- stand your ground if the bible doesn’t sanction it, we can’t do it
2.
BOLDNESS - the
righteous are as bold a lion, for the
lion of the tribe of Judah is in them
3.
COMMITMENT - being ready & willing to die for it
4.
DETERMINATION-
setting your face on the goal & settling for nothing less
5.
EXPECTATION
– what God has promised, he will fulfill

BASIC THINGS THAT GOD WANTS US TO COMPILE WITH :
Dedication- we have become so casual in our
fellowship, we are not dedicated and we give birth to dedicated believers.
Prayer Is Essential- it is
what makes restoration possible. “First action when God’s word has been revealed
is to pray and ask the God, Lord I come to you, what do you expect of me after speaking
in this manner”.
Separate Yourself for God - our
bodies are the temples of the Lord. God wants an intimate relationship with us
#He
quoted Lamentations 3 vs. 28 which says Let Him (as in us) dwell alone. We are
too crowded & don’t have a moment to bond with what God is
saying.
Know God- we
are a generation of praise not worship, we praise Him for what He has done,
asimazi/ know Him.
Let Us Watch One Another- let’s
be restored to love…….I am my brother’s
keeper- asinakelelane. This needs the Holy Spirit, give attentive care to
our brethren.
Do Not Neglect Fellowship - we
fellowship because the word of God commands us to do so.
